I was prepared for the worst. I got through the line very quickly. My seated wait was about 25 minutes, but they got through a lot of people during that time. There was ample staff on. Everyone was very polite. Thank you for changing my perception of the RMV!
The wait time is abhorrent and the driving instructors are insistently rude. Don't take the road test until "Fail Gail" is gone. 99% of the people that fail their road test is due to this instructor.
They have completely redone the system here and it's working great. 1 hour in and out today for 2 separate things
The year is 2347. I am using a time machine to transmit my one star google review. Originally came in to switch plates, and after 330 years Im still sitting on the spine wrecking, soul crushing benches they provided. Ive had to resort to eating MASSDOT T21099-0714 forms for food. There is no god. Great onion rings.
I arrived at the S Yarmouth RMV on a Wed afternoon after 2:00 pm. A friendly person greeted me at the door, asked what I needed and directed me to proceed to desk 1 where another friendly and helpful person examined my paperwork and gave me a number. I noticed that there were customer service staff at ten desks. Twenty minutes later, I was back at desk 1 and my issues were quickly resolved with a smile. Thank you for your timely assistance.
